This year Ekushey Boimela has been arranged at CRB, Shirishtala in Chattogram rather than Stadium premises.

This place is quiet and free from traffic jam and nuisance. But the question is that, whether this place is fit for

for organizing a book fair? Ekushey Book Fair is one of the best cultural event in our country. But, in Chittagong it has been

organized in a haphazard manner  so far. We couldn’t be able to find one permanent place for book fair till this year.

We do not keep books in our necessary  things . There are so many super markets in this city to meet our every days necessity.

But, we cannot fix a place for book fair still. Good book shops are also very rare in this city. Negligence about books is a sign of

cultural leanness. We have to overcome this backdrop to become a good nation.
